AFAC COVID-19 Safety Awareness Poster Contest Results

May 28, 2020 | News

At a time when physical distancing meant the cancellation of school, community events, and extended family gatherings, we reached out to Indigenous youth to connect with them and engage them in the process of promoting COVID-19 safety awareness. Between April 14-May 11, 2020, youth aged 18 and under were given the opportunity to share their understanding of COVID-19 and how we can all work together to keep ourselves, our families, and our communities healthy and safe.

We were overwhelmed by the creative and inspiring submissions that we received, and we would like to thank all the talented young artists who participated. Karleigh Jack and Kendall Sky were awarded iPads for their submissions.
