AFAC recently welcomed John Langen as the new NIFSC project manager. John comes to the project after 35 years with the Canadian Armed Forces and the Department of National Defence, having spent much of that time in project management roles.
John was born in Port Arthur (now Thunder Bay) Ontario but grew up in Victoria, BC. He completed a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree at UBC, a Master of Science from the Royal Military College, and a Master of Business Administration from Queen’s University.
After serving in the Royal Canadian Corps of Signals from 1984–2009, John retired at the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel. He currently resides in Victoria, BC with his wife Michelle Adkins, LLB, Haida of Old Masset Village.
